Keeping your Bookxy account secure
24 March 2026 · 4 min read
Practical security for a wallet-bearing account: codes, passwords, recognising impersonation, and what Bookxy will never ask you for.
Your account holds money and a verified identity, which makes it worth protecting properly. None of the following requires technical knowledge.
Your one time codes
Sign in codes are sent to your email and are for you alone. Nobody from Bookxy will ever ask you for a code, by any channel, for any reason. Anyone who does is attempting to take your account, without exception and regardless of how plausible their explanation sounds.
Your password
Use a password you do not use anywhere else. Reused passwords are how most account takeovers actually happen: a leak on an unrelated site becomes access to your wallet. If you cannot remember a unique one, write it down somewhere physical and private. That is safer than reuse.
Recognising impersonation
Real communication comes from your registered email address and from inside the app. Treat any WhatsApp group, Telegram channel or social account promising guaranteed earnings, paid task access, or faster verification as fraudulent. There is no fee to work here and no fee to be verified.
What we will never ask for
We will never ask for your password, a sign in code, your full card number, or a payment to release your earnings. We will never ask you to move money to a personal account to unlock a withdrawal.
Payout details
Check your payout account carefully whenever you add or change one. For Nigerian bank accounts the registered name is resolved automatically, and it must match your verified identity, which stops most misdirected transfers. For USDT, verify the address character by character before saving, because blockchain transfers cannot be reversed.
If something looks wrong
Change your password, then contact support through the app with what you saw and when. Unusual sign in activity, a payout account you do not recognise or a withdrawal you did not request are all worth reporting immediately. Acting within hours makes a real difference.
