Contributor Agreement

Last updated: July 26, 2026

This is the working agreement you accept when you create a Bookxy account. It covers how tasks are paid, how quality is reviewed, what happens to the work you submit, and what we expect from each other.

1. You work for yourself

You are an independent contributor, not an employee of Bookxy. You choose which tasks to accept, when to work, and how much to take on. Nothing here creates employment, partnership, or an exclusive relationship, and you stay responsible for your own taxes and any local registration your country requires.

2. The work

Tasks on Bookxy help train and evaluate artificial intelligence and robotics systems. That can include writing and rating text, labelling images or audio, checking model answers, recording short clips, or following step by step instructions from a task maker.

  • Do the work yourself. No sharing accounts, no bots, no automated scripts.
  • Follow the instructions on each task, including any required evidence.
  • Do not submit work generated by an AI tool unless the task explicitly asks for it.
  • Do not submit content that is illegal, hateful, or that you do not have the right to share.

3. Eligibility and identity

You must be at least 18 and resident in a country we support. Before you can withdraw earnings you must complete identity verification, which may include an official ID check, a selfie, and address details. We may pause or close an account where identity cannot be confirmed or where the details you gave do not match your payout account.

4. Quality reviews and rejections

Submitted work is reviewed. Approved work earns the amount shown on the task at the time you accepted it. Work can be rejected when it misses the instructions, is copied, is rushed, or fails an accuracy check. Repeated rejections can reduce the tasks you are eligible for, and clear abuse can end your account. You can ask our team to look at any rejection again through support.

5. Pay and withdrawals

  • Earnings from approved work land in your Bookxy wallet.
  • Withdrawals are only available to verified accounts, through the payout methods listed in your wallet.
  • Payout accounts must be in your own name. Third party accounts are not accepted.
  • Bank, network, and currency conversion charges may apply and are shown before you confirm.
  • Balances gained through fraud, duplicate accounts, or manipulation can be reversed.

6. Ownership of your submissions

Once a submission is approved and paid, you assign to Bookxy and its clients the rights in that work so it can be used to build, train, test and improve AI and robotics systems, including commercially and without a time limit. You keep the right to be free of any claim over your general skills and knowledge. Do not submit anything containing another person's private information, an employer's confidential material, or content you do not own.

7. Confidentiality

Task content, client names, prompts, datasets and instructions are confidential. Do not post them publicly, share them in groups, or reuse them outside Bookxy.

8. One person, one account

Duplicate accounts, referral farming, and referrals of people who are not real contributors are not allowed. Where we find them, we can remove the affected earnings and close the accounts involved.

9. Changes and ending the agreement

You can stop using Bookxy at any time and request any confirmed balance you are entitled to. We can suspend or end an account for breaches of this agreement, the Terms of Use, or the Community Guidelines. If we change this agreement in a way that materially affects you, we will tell you and you can decline by closing your account.

10. How this fits together

This agreement sits alongside our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Cookie Policy and Data Processing information. Where something is covered in more detail there, that detail applies.
